You will receive your biography memoir starter pack, which contains:

• A welcome brochure which guides you through the process.
• A link to our free Life Chart software so you can easily record key events in your loved one’s life.
• A list of memory Jogger questions.

You will receive a phone call from Everyday Biographies to arrange a time for your first one-hour telephone conversation.

Your first one-hour telephone conversation will focus on:

• Building an overview of key dates and events in your loved one’s life. We will fill in a life chart covering where they lived, where they went to school, what jobs they held, when they married, the births of their children, and deaths of other loved ones during their lifetime. This will then be sent to you and used in further conversations.
• Discussing which areas of your loved one’s life you would like to cover (or not), which areas you would like to spend the most time on, and which memories are most important to record.
• Confirm which other family member or friend will be involved in developing the memoir and how much time each will receive.
• Determine chapter layouts and the order you would like to proceed in for upcoming phone conversations.

Your relative or friend will also be called by Everyday Biographies and telephone conversations will be booked.

Within three weeks of the final telephone conversation, you will receive a draft of your book to review. This will allow you to make corrections or check for inaccuracies. At this stage, you can decide on chapter names and the name of your biography memoir.

Once you approve your book we will send it to print and within 2 weeks you should receive your professionally bound book.
